The Beginning

The beginning - this is a dream that's been in my heart for many, many years. Years ago, before tiny houses started to make their appearance, I wanted to build my own green, self sufficient home. That never happened, and I realize, at my age (the kids are grown, and I'm even - a very recent - Grandma now), it may not actually happen. But this doesn't prevent me from still hoping, planning and trying my best to live the simple life.

That's sort of what I do. I've been on this journey for a good while now - and only recently realized it!  I think this blog is/will be a sort of documentation of that - my crazy, varied, pared down simple life. Maybe even share some ideas and get some conversations going...
